As purveyors of condoms and sexual health products, we’ve heard all the “Catch ‘em all” jokes already and we’re sure you have, too. We’ll spare you on that.
Having sex without a condom is like going into tall grass without your own Pokémon, it’s just unsafe! Read on to learn how to make a ONE Poké Ball of your own, using the ONE Condom Tins.
Starting condom conversations,
Pokémon-style.
Supplies:
- ONE Condom Carrying Tin (we used Silver)
- Painter’s Tape
- Craft Knife
- Spray Paint
- White
- Banner Red
- Black Paint
- Note: we used 1-Shot Lettering Enamel because we had it on hand. Acrylic paint should work fine as well.
- Small, Flat Paint Brush
- Tweezers (optional)

Step 1:
Place painter’s tape over the embossed ONE logo on the tin. Press around the edges of the emboss (using your nails might help) so you can see the outline.

Step 2:
Using the craft knife, CAREFULLY cut around the edge of the embossed logo. Keep in mind, the corners are slightly rounded. Don’t worry if there is still black exposed, as long as the shape is good, you’re good.

Step 3:
Place the top tin open-side down on your painting surface. We used a canvas drop cloth, but cardboard or tarp will do just fine as well. If you want the back half of your tin white, now would be a good time to spray paint that too.

Step 4:
PAINT WHITE. Try not to coat too heavily. Leave the tin to dry according to the suggestion of paint you use. Make sure you do your painting outside or in a well-ventilated area.

Step 5:
Catch some Pokémon while the paint dries.

Step 6:
Leave the masking over the ONE logo and use another piece of tape to mask off the bottom half of the tin. Use the red spray paint on the top half of the tin. Now is also a good time to spray paint the back half of your tin if you want it red, like we did.

Step 7:
Catch more Pokémon.

Step 8:
Using your fingers or a pair of tweezers, remove the tape across the tin. The tape over the embossed logo may come off with it if you’re lucky. If not, remove this too.

Step 9:
Paint a black stripe along the edge between your red and white paint job.

Step 10:
Let it dry completely and you’re done!
