About the Band
Held Captive are post-hardcore thrashers from Taunton, MA, forged in the chaos of the post-pandemic landscape in 2022. Drawing on a raw, unrelenting energy, the band delivers aggressive, high-octane performances rooted in hardcore intensity and thrash precision. Their debut EP, The Earth Shall Drink Their Blood, showcases their searing sound and apocalyptic vision.
Since their formation, Held Captive has stormed stages across the region, including Widowmaker Brewing’s Hopsmokerfest, and have shared bills with heavyweights like Extinction A.D., High Command, Leather Lung, Enforced, Pure Bliss, and A Wilhelm Scream. Fueled by rage, riffage, and resilience, Held Captive is carving out a name in the Northeast underground.
